Worked up a Display tray from http://www.tablewar.com/ and this is a pictorial on the things I did.
Mocked up something simple, then hot glued everything on place.
Smothered the surface with various Vallejo texture pastes and began to add bits and debris.
After everything was dry I painted it.
Displayed with (unfinished) models.
While the technique used is very good and probably very useful, the paint scheme on the DA Rhinos/Razorback is ........ seems silly to say ....... it is AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteHappened across this blog by a circuitous method but will certainly bookmark it, if only for that paint job. Thanks.
Awesome work as always! I love my TableWar case. Although, it doesn't look as cool as yours! haha
ReplyDeleteHmm, maybe it's the lighting, but the dark angels look kinda blue. do you have a tutorial that shows how to do a rhino that matches that 2-part powerfist Dark Angel one you did a while back? Can you make a tank look good without an airbrush?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know how you did that Turquoise colour
